​​Ashley Cusato , founder of ALC Entertainment, makes her directorial debut with this award-winning biopic documentary. General James Williams tapped Cusato to helm the project on behalf of Major Capers, trusting her to champion this extraordinary story. As the creative architect, Cusato shaped the written narrative, braiding multiple visual elements, firsthand accounts, and raw audio recordings from the battlefield to bring to life the heart-pounding, gut-wrenching moments Capers experienced on the frontlines.
As a producer, Cusato raised the financing, secured rare access and participation from the key figures on screen, as well as aligning partnerships with LBI Entertainment and distribution.
A 25-year veteran of the entertainment industry, Cusato has appeared in over 100 film, television, and commercial projects as an actress and stuntwoman, working alongside icons like Sylvester Stallone, John Travolta, and Jennifer Aniston.
Ashley continues to spearhead the ongoing development and adaptation of Major Capers' true-life story into a scripted feature film and series.

Erich Recker is a television and documentary producer whose work has earned Emmy recognition across a range of broadcast and documentary projects. He helped develop and guide the production strategy behind Major Capers: The Legend of Team Broadminded, working closely with Major James Capers Jr. and key military figures connected to the film.
Recker helped assemble the access, archival materials, interviews, and production resources needed to bring this historically significant mission to the screen while preserving the authenticity of Capers’ life and legacy.
With a background spanning documentary, television, and unscripted production, Recker specializes in character-driven projects that explore leadership, resilience, and the human experiences behind extraordinary events.
He continues to support the ongoing development and adaptation of Major Capers’ legacy for scripted film, television, and other media platforms.
